With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Misty V. Long of Blue Rapids, Kansas, born in Coffeyville, Kansas, who passed away on November 21, 2023 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phillip Sr. Scott and Golda Scott; and her adoptive parents, Francis Hardman and Dorothy Hardman. She is survived by: her husband David Long of Blue Rapids, KS; her children, Jason Long of Mt Vernon, SD, Carrie Ngugi of Topeka, KS, Kristin Long of Salina, KS, Amanda Long of Plankinton, SD and Aaron Long of Blue Rapids, KS.; her grandchildren, Adrionna Wantoch (Matthew), Jeremy Long, Becca Long and Nathan Ngugi; and her siblings, G. N. Hardman (Jeannie) of Lyndon, KS and Lora Hardman of Lawrence, KS.
A memorial fund has been established and will be designated at a later time.
