She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd E. Newman and Sarah A. Newman (Cook); her sons, Rodney Nemechek and Lyle Nemechek, Jr.; and her siblings, Ronald Newman and Linda McAboy.
She is survived by: her husband Lyle, Sr.; her children, Hugh Nemechek (Alice) of Marysville and Cindy Tryon (Bill) of Blue Rapids; and her siblings, Robert Newman of Enid, Sharon Skillin of Blue Rapids and Jeannette Toburen of Manhattan. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested to Johnson Cancer Research Center at Kansas State University and may be sent in care of Christie-Anderes Funeral Home at PO Box 61, Waterville, Kansas 66548.
