It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harry Johnston of Blue Rapids, Kansas, who passed away on December 6, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harry Johnston to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wayne D. Johnston and Gladys Johnston (Vinson); his wife Louise Krings; and his siblings, Milford Johnston and Vivian Logsdon.

He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Johnston of Manhattan, Kim Benteman (Daryl) of Waterville and Karla Bryant (Shawn) of Beatrice; his grandchildren, Jacob Benteman (Kacie), Eliza Benteman, William Bryant (Cierra) and Marinda Bryant; and his great grandchildren, Paysen and Ashton.

“Harry was great friend during our time in South Padre Island , only new Harry a few years but during those times we developed a great friendship . He was always there for everyone at Sandcastle Condominiums, and with his help we started a bye weekly bbq for the winter Texan, Harry and Vince donated the money for the first hot dog bbq . We had such great times on the dock, Harry Vince Gene Gordy and myself , discussing everything under the sun .Harry will be missed by all , love Len and Cathy”
