It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Debbie Nemechek of Blue Rapids, Kansas, born in Portland, Oregon, who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ina Chesney (Carlson) and Harold Chesney; her husband Melvin; and her former husband Byron Harder. She is survived by: her children, Jay Harder of Pickrell, Janet Newmyer (Dave) of Wilber, Jeff Harder of Gretna, Bryon Nemechek (Linda) of Waterville, Kevin Nemechek (Joanne) of Inverness, Diann Elliott of Washington and Jolene Musil (Roger Miller) of Marysville; and her siblings, Doug Chesney and Carol Knox (Bill). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
