He was predeceased by: his parents, John DeWaard and Marjorie Cosgrove DeWaard; and his siblings, Jerry DeWaard and Nancy Ailli. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Gary DeWaard, Jack A. DeWaard, Sabrina Moeller, Elaine Becker, Aengela McGinnis and Dawn Welch; and his siblings, Larry DeWaard, Kelly DeWaard and Bobbie Veneklase. He is also survived by grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
