He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Eugene and Luecetra Jane Clark (Adams); and his nephew John Robert Plumb. He is survived by: his siblings, Robert Swonger (Lois) and Cheryl Plumb (Gary); and his nieces and nephews, Rhonda Swonger, Robyn Trussel (Jim), Rusty Swonger (Stephanie) and Kent Plumb. He is also survived by 10 great nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorials to the Minneola District Hospital or the Minneola High School Booster Club both in care of Minnis Mortuary, 1901 N. 14th Ave., Dodge City, Kansas 67801.
