It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger E. Newman of Berryton, Kansas, born in McLouth, Kansas, who passed away on March 10, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Frank Newman; his granddaughter Ashley Nicole Newman; and his son-in-law Joseph McGonnell. He is survived by: his children, Steven Newman (Karen) of Silver Lake, Robert Newman (Amber) of Gillette and Brianna McGonnell of Auburn; and his mother Virginia Jean Newman (Combs) of Winchester. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the KSU Cancer Center, 1 Chalmers Hall, Manhattan, Kansas 66506 or to Ronald McDonald House, 825 SW Buchanan St., Topeka, Kansas 66606.
