He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Matthews and Kathryn Matthews; his brother Kerry Matthews; his sister-in-law Sheri Matthews; and his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Joyce Becker.
He is survived by: his wife Kelly; his grandson Jaiden; his daughter Morgan (Tyeler); his sister-in-law Krista Becker; his cousin Janie Coates; and his brothers, Craig Matthews and Steve Matthews (Alice).
In lieu of flowers the family appreciates contributions to Jaiden Matthews, Envista Credit Union, to be used for educational and youth activities.
