He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Schlink and Helen L. Schlink (Frakes); his spouse Sarena A. Moyer; and his siblings, Glenn Schlink, Dale Schlink, Nancy Stringfellow, Larry Schlink and James Schlink.
He is survived by: his daughter Angela D. Golightley of Topeka; his grandchildren, Talin Golightley (Kaley) of Kansas City, Gage Golightley of Topeka and Ava Golightley of Topeka; and his siblings, Donna Brannon of Berryton and Robert Schlink (Sharon) of Berryton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shawnee Heights United Methodist Church (6020 SE 44th St, Tecumseh, KS 66542).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Meals on Wheels of Eastern Kansas, 2134 SW Westport Dr., Topeka, Kansas 66614.
