She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Potter and Charlotte Potter (Thrower); her husband Vernon Bailey, Sr.; and her daughter Rebecca Cowser. She is survived by: her children, Donald Hayes (Sara) of Topeka, Steve Hayes (Janet) of Perry, Peggy Wischropp (Kevin) of Lyndon, Vernon "Jay" Bailey, Jr. (Nicole) of Osage City and David Bailey (Patti) of Lyndon. She is also survived by twenty-six grandchildren and over fifty great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Feltner Funeral Chapel (818 Topeka Ave, Lyndon, KS 66451). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
