He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Meyer, Sr. and Pearl Meyer (Streit); and his brother James Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Helen Ruth Menold; his sons, Duane (Holly) of Bern and Jeri (Darcy) of St. George, Kansas; and his siblings, Virgil Meyer of Sabetha, Earl Meyer of Bern, Keith Meyer of Bern, Rowena Kaster of Bern and K'Lynne Gugelman of Bern. He is also survived by his six grandchildren; and his ten great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Sabetha Community Hospital, Apostolic Christian Home, or the Bern Apostolic Christian Church sent in care of Popkess Mortuary, 823 Virginia, Sabetha, Kansas 66534.
