Shirley D. Pickel Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley D. Pickel of Bennington, Kansas, who passed away on September 16, 2024, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Orlie Bronson and Hazel Bronson (Vibber); and her husband Wayne Pickel. She is survived by: her children, Sonya Graf, Mary Marble and J. D. Pickel; her sister Velda Rae Menard; her grandsons, Jim Marble (Cyndi), Rodney Graf (Amy), Shane Pickel (Anna) and Coy Pickel; and her great grandchildren, Mariah (Austin), Jordan, Megan (Brad), Ashley, Alyssa, Zane, Landon, Tyler, Katavion and Matt. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ottawa County Health Center or the Bennington Senior Center and may be left in care of the funeral home.
