She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerry Richard and Irene Ellen Steele (Carlson); and her son Christopher Swartz. She is survived by: her husband Joe Young of Bennington, KS; her sons, Adam Young of Manhattan, NY and Jordan Young (Angelica) of Long Island, NY; her father-in-law Dell Young of Lyons; her sisters, Victoria Cadena of Louisburg, KS, Tammy Unruh (Kenny) of Latham, KS, Kimberly White (Bill) of Champion, NE and Jody Little (Steven) of Kingman, KS; her sister-in-law Kay Frank (Robert) of Lyons, KS; and her grandchildren, Alexandria Young, Julian Young, Christian Young, Quinton Swartz, Genevieve Swartz and Izabella Swartz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to Tammy Walker Cancer Center, Salina, in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
