He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Bruce and Violet Howland (Hout); his wife Neva June MaGee (Bayes); his son Jerry Howland; his son-in-law Larry Ward; and his siblings-in-law, Don Fleming, Ron Koehn and Helen Howland.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ruth Fleming of Formoso, Rita Koehn of Lawrence, Kansas and Clark Howland of Formoso; his children, Don Howland (Luisa) of Osborne, Bud Howland (Misty) of Cawker City and Dixie Ward of Colony, Kansas; and his stepchildren, Kenny MaGee (Jane) of Bartlesville, Bill MaGee of Wichita, Roselyn Sweaney (Dale) of Sedan and Kayla Crossland (Tim) of Paola, Kansas. He is also survived by 25 grandchildren; 52 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; and a host of family, friends, and caregivers.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts Family Funeral Home (910 N Campbell Ave, Beloit, KS 67420). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at the Prairie Grove Cemetery (1337 D Rd, Cawker City, KS 67430).
Memorials may be given to the Solomon Valley Transportation.
