He was predeceased by: his parents, Roland Peterson and Mable Hill Peterson; and his siblings, Glenn, Ivan and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his wife Teresa Diers; his children, April Michelle Peterson of Beloit and Richard of Independence, Kansas; his siblings, John of Osborne, Gary of Eskridge and Carolyn Blasé of Sylvan Grove; and his grandson Dalton.
