It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeff E. Backstrom of Beloit, Kansas, born in Wakefield, Nebraska, who passed away on June 16, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean H. L. and Norma L. Backstrom (Erwin). He is survived by: his wife Wanda A. Reitz of Beloit, KS; his children, Beau Backstrom (Ana) of Big Sky, MT and Mallory Hulett (Connor) of Beloit, KS; his grandchildren, Culver, Palmer, Colter Hulett and Thomas Backstrom; and his sister Nancy Lind (Terry) of Louisville, CO.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Cloud County Ducks Unlimited for Lifetime Youth Hunting Licenses.
