He was predeceased by: his parents, Keith Cox and Inez Underhill Cox; his son Dana; his grandson Parker Reames; and his siblings, Betty Jo Lowman and Dean Cox.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Doug Cox (Kris) of Beloit, Dallas Cox (Linda) of Beloit and Dee Reames (Curtis) of Jamestown; and his grandchildren, Brent Cox (Jaime), Brandon Cox (Katie), Courtney Follis (Clayton), Savanna Cox, Caydren Cox, Carson Cox, Brandee Jordan (Tracy), Spencer Reames (Jennifer) and Colson Reames. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Memorials may be given to the Scottsville Community Church.
