He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Pfortmiller and Frieda Pfortmiller (Hofstetter). He is survived by: his spouse Darcel Stech; his close friend Loretta Detrixhe of Concordia; his siblings, Roger Pfortmiller of Linwood, Carolyn Bigham (Jerry) of Newton and Sondra Pfortmiller of Wichita; his daughters, Desi Richards (Nate) of Beloit, Darshay Frederking (Eric) of Sylvan Grove and Deaira LeSage (Tyson) of Hays; his grandchildren, Reese, Rowan, Wilder, Ledger and Winnie Richards; and his children, Kenzley, Kelton, Kai Frederking, Mila and Liv LeSage.

Memorials may be given to the Pfortmiller Grandchildren's Education Fund.
