He was predeceased by: his father Duane E. File (Bud); and his sisters, Dee Ann Meschke and Judy Barid. He is survived by: his mother Bonnie Jean File (Eldringhoff); his son Joe Daniel (Heather); his wife Marcia Ann Obholz; his daughters, Julie Carson (Mark) and Jennie File; his grandchildren, Caleb Carson (Jordan), Samantha Miller (Dawson), Maddison File (Jack), Dani Carson and Marley File; and his great grandchildren, Ripley Miller, Treedyn Miller, Atlee Carson, Koe Daniel Miller, Collins Carson and Hazie Miller.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberts Family Funeral Home (910 N Campbell Ave, Beloit, KS 67420). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the St. John's Catholic Church (701 E Court St, Beloit, KS 67420). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at the Elmwood Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Mitchell County Regional Medical Foundation or the Mitchell County 4-H.
