She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Wempe and Augusta Wempe (Voet). She is survived by: her husband John E. Lackey; and her sons, Greg (Polly), Chris (Trena) and David (Tamme). She is also survived by five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the St. John's Catholic Church (701 E Court St, Beloit, KS 67420). A prayer was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the St. Michael's Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Nicol Home or St. John's Schools.
