He was predeceased by: his parents, William Baxa and Arlene Baxa (Houdek); and his wife Joleen K. Havel. He is survived by: his brother Barry Baxa (Rita) of Cuba; his sister-in-law Peggy Humpert (Lyle) of Haysville; and his schnauzer Lilly Jo.
Memorials are requested to the Cuba Presbyterian Church or the Browning Collectors Association, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
