We bid farewell to Stephen Robert Wren (Belleville, Kansas), born in Denver, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 4, 2025 at the age of 68. Stephen touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wren and Florine Wren (Bryan); his sister Glenda; his brother-in-law Mike Graybill; his grandparents, Leslie and Nellie Schrotenboer; and his great-uncles, Leo Schrotenboer and Herman Schrotenboer (Dutch).
He is survived by: his wife Rachelle Baxa of Clifton, KS; his children, Justin Wren (Julie) of Westmoreland, KS, Christian Wren of Manhattan, KS, Jacob Wren (Cassie) of Manhattan, KS and Aubrey Anderson (Kyle) of Jamestown, KS; and his grandchildren, Charlee Wren, Aria, Easton, Holden Anderson, Luke and Rylee Wren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home (1322 19th St, Belleville, KS 66935). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Cuba Community Hall (216 Baird St, Cuba, KS 66940). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Isidore Catholic Cemetery (603 Linden St, Cuba, KS 66940).
