He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Vernon Adee and Beulah Mae Adee (Layher); his wife Evelyn Adee (Hilsop); his siblings, Stanley Adee and Donna; his brothers-in-law, Robert Brown (Bob) and Barton Johnson; his great grandchildren, Kamryn Aufdengarten and Carson Adee; his children, Donna Brown, Richard Adee, Stanley Adee and Vernamae Johnson; his former wife Peggy Rychtarik-Rogers; his children, Joan Pape (Larry) of Washington, KS, June Stafford of Salida, CO, Jack Adee (Kathy) of Haddam, KS, Roberta Verhoek of Danbury, TX, Rex Adee (Robin) of Arcadia, OK, Roger Adee of Republic, KS and Herb Adee (Elizabeth) of Lake Lotawana, MO.; his stepson Jarvis Renfro (Butch) of Bruce, SD.; his siblings, Richard Adee (Alice) of Bruce, SD and Vernamae Johnson of Chicago, IL; and his grandchildren, Diana Aufdengarten (Brian), Melissa Pape, Robert Pape, Sarah Isaacson (Greg), Josh Stafford (Christina), Jack Adee Jr. (Tara), Amanda Sufi (Musab), Cassandra Smith (Michael), Rochelle Lazo (Victor), Rebekah Verhoek, Ryan Adee (Samantha), Regan McWhirter (Chris), Rhame Adee (Meghan), Tabitha Dunn (David), Robert K. Adee, Miranda Weddington (Anthony), Jordan Adee and Alexandria Adee. He was also cherished by thirty great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Any monetary memorials will be donated to American Honey Producers Association to benefit honey bee research, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
