She was predeceased by: her husband Max Thayer; her parents, Peter and Gerda; her siblings, Marilyn Morehead and Gary Nielsen; and her great grandchild Emma Drew Shearer.
She is survived by: her children, Diane Oleen (Chuck) of Falun, Linda Brzon (Mike) of Courtland, Sheri Hoops (Layne) of Republic, Randy Thayer (Lana) of Republic and Shelley Morehead (Scott) of Andover; her grandchildren, Chad Shearer of Frankfort, Kansas, Steffen and Taylor Shearer; her great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Victoria of Sulpher Bluff, Texas; her grandchildren, Brooks Shearer of Brownsboro, Texas and Amiee Shearer; her great grandchildren, Gavin, Bennett and Maren of Olathe, Kansas; her grandchildren, Chase and Natalie Elliott; her great grandchildren, Kanner and Kinlee of Tolar, Texas; her grandchildren, Megan and Corbin Hostetler; her great grandchildren, Connor, Carter and Tyler of Harper, Kansas; her grandchildren, Kaleb and Ashley Brzon; her great grandchildren, Campbell, Berkley and Grant of Belleville, Kansas; her grandchildren, Jeremy Thayer of Wichita, Kansas, Jordan and Monica Thayer; her great grandchildren, Quinton, Whitney and Valerie of Courtland, Kansas; her grandchildren, Erin and Andrew Rieschick; her great grandchildren, Isabel, Ike and Dottie of Falls City, Nebraska; her grandchildren, Lauren and Todd Eitzmann; her great grandchildren, Adi and Ava of Beloit, Kansas; and her grandchildren, Drew Hoops of Salina, Kansas, Mack Morehead of Wichita, Kansas, Addison and Bryce Childs of Andover.
