She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Topliff and Leona Topliff (Birdsell); her siblings, Lewis Topliff and Donna Clark; and her siblings-in-law, Emery Hobelman, Ray Clark and Minnie Topliff.
She is survived by: her husband Charles F. Swanson; her children, Chris, Lucinda, Dennis Swanson (Linda) of Courtland, Duane Swanson of Courtland, Craig Swanson (Alice) of Woodburn and Brad Swanson; her grandchildren, Amy Sampson (Shannon) of Moreauville, Louisiana, Lori Carlgren (Ryan) of Formoso, Kevin Swanson of Ft. Supply, Oklahoma, Marci Allen (Jace) of Scandia, Justin Swanson of Woodburn, Oregon, Adam Swanson (Danielle) of Belleville, Meghan Swanson of Concordia and Carly Swanson; and her sister Ruth Hobelman of Superior. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter.
Memorials may be made to the Mary Lou Swanson Memorial, and will be designated by the family at a later date.
