She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Baumfalk (Vliet) and Albert Baumfalk; her husband Duane Rieke; her sister Joyce Gross; and her brothers-in-law, Ed Gross and Joe Colombo.
She is survived by: her children, Lora Rieke of Belleville, Ann Leabo (Chad) of Kansas City, MO, Dan Rieke (Kate) of Lenexa, KS and Daryl Rieke (Kay) of Belleville; her grandchildren, Grace, Daniel, Sarah, Sophia, Jack and Olivia; and her siblings, Janet Colombo of Bozeman, MT, Pat Baumfalk (Deb) of Lincoln and Liz Daubendiek (Bruce) of Pickrell, NE. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in her memory to the Belleville, Kansas Public Library or American Lutheran Church in Belleville, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
