She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Opliger and Della Opliger (Stephens); her husband Merlyn Bailey; and her brothers, Mark Opliger of Wichita, Kansas and Leland Opliger of Fairview, Kansas..
She is survived by: her children, Karla Bramlett (Bailey), Pam McGregor (Bailey), Robert Bailey (Naomi) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Bradley Bailey (Kevin Carroll) of Rapid City; her grandchildren, Jonathan Douglass (Jenny) of York, Christopher Douglass of Creighton, Missouri, Seth McGregor (Tailar) of Courtland, Kansas, Emily Farris (McGregor), Delaney Hamel (McGregor), Gabriel McGregor of Tribune, Kansas, Jentry McGregor of Belleville, Kansas, Alicia Brummett (Bailey), Christian Bailey and Charles Bailey of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; and her close friend Vance VanPelt of Osborne, Kansas. She is also survived by six great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
A memorial has been established with the Wesleyan Bible Bowl, and memorials may be sent in care of Tibbetts- Fischer Funeral Home, PO Box 566 Belleville, Kansas 66935, for those who wish to donate in her memory.
