With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester E. Young of Belleville, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Kansas, who passed away on November 27, 2022 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest R. Young and Thelma E. Young; his wife Annabelle Simon; his great grandchild Owen James; and his brother Charles Landers.
He is survived by: his children, Sandra Kay DeFazio (Chris) of Wellsville, KS, Mike Cole (Sandy) of Belleville, KS and Shellie Williams of Belleville, KS; his close friend Delores Whiteman of Winfield, KS; and his siblings, Larry O. Young of California and Shirley Whitaker of Stover, MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren.
