He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Earl Royer and Viola Marie "Dot" Royer (Pritts); his daughter Tonya Marie; his wife Betty Royer; and his brother Robert Dean Royer.

He is survived by: his son Tim Royer of Belleville, Kansas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, other relatives, and many friends.

Memorials are suggested to the Leonard Royer Memorial Fund established at Astra Bank.
