He was predeceased by: his parents, Dean Coonrod and Helen Coonrod (Woodside); his parents-in-law, George and Blanche Splichal; and his brother-in-law John Robson.
He is survived by: his children, Eric Matthew (Steph) of Ellsworth, Jason Dean (Dawn) of Liberty and Amanda Marie of Lawrence; his wife Elaine Splichal; his granddaughters, Jordyn, Haley, Taylor, Peyton and Reygan; his brothers, Lynn Coonrod (Elaine) of Winner and Tim Coonrod (Annette) of Belleville, Kansas; and his siblings-in-law, Edwin Splichal (Karen) of Belleville, Kansas and Loretta Robson of Baldwin City, Kansas. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
Memorials are requested to the St. George Catholic Cemetery, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
