She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Siebert and Eva Siebert (Bryan); her husband James A. Tibbetts; and her brother Paul Siebert. She is survived by: her children, Paula Simms (Douglas) of Belleville and James C. Tibbetts (Beverly) of Lansing; her grandchildren, Christine Conn (Michael), James K. Simms (Anne), Julia Werthman (Jeffrey) and Jill Luse (Brian); her great grandchildren, Spencer, Libby Conn, Tucker, Riley Simms, Maddy Werthmann, Abby and Jason Luse; and her sister-in-law Joan Tibbetts-Baker of Olathe. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
