He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Havel and Matilda Havel (Klaumann); his parents-in-law, William and Agnes Anderson (Phyllis); his daughter Eileen Matousek; his siblings, Virgil (Alice), Marcella Thompson (George), Marjorie Bodin (Glenn), Blanche Stanton (Gerald) and Viola Hedstrom (Harold); and his sisters-in-law, Carrol Anderson, Ethelyn Lambott and Wilda McKee.
He is survived by: his daughters, Nita (Steve Newby) and Sharon (Steve Larrick); his son-in-law Carl Matousek; his grandchildren, Nathan Newby, Gloria Busenitz (Cody), Arlan Newby, Kara Hoegerl, Lydia Vazquez (Manuel), Kelcie Matousek and Austin Hoegerl; his siblings-in-law, Warren Anderson, Faye (Leon Hagan) and Roland McKee; and his wife Phyllis Anderson. He is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
