He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Dierksen and Rosa Dierksen (Hackney); his son Edward Ray Dierksen; and his sister Margie Dierksen Scott. He is survived by: his wife Alice Ruth Buckminster; his son Fred Dierksen (Susan) of Dodge City, Kansas; his grandchildren, Randi Brenner (Derek) of Colwich, Gabriel Dierksen (Lori) of LaCrosse, Hannah Dierksen of Dodge City, Emily Dierksen of Dodge City and Jedidiah Dierksen (Darien) of Cincinnati, Ohio; his great grandchild Hattie Ione Dierksen of LaCrosse, Kansas; his niece Cindy Scott Winters; and his nephew Troy Don Scott.
