He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Lewis and Francis Lewis; his son Eddie Lewis; and his granddaughter Becky Lewis. He is survived by: his wife Grace; his sons, Dennis Lewis and Travis Lewis (Sue); and his stepson Eldon Nugen. He is also survived by 2 brothers, one sister, two grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to Sunflower Hospice.
