She was predeceased by: her parents, Lilly Slaughter and John Slaughter; and her son Bobby Happy. She is survived by: her husband Bob Happy (Bob); her children, Bridget Bowman (Glenn), Brenda Phillips (Clark), Bruce Happy (Judy), Brian Happy (Stephanie) and Brad Happy (Margie); her grandchildren, Dawn Albers, Abby Haralson, Megan Phillips-Nighswonger, Stephen Happy, Brandon Happy, Clayton Happy and Seth Happy; her siblings, Paul Slaughter and Marilyn Schmidt; and her siblings-in-law, Wanda Clark and Kevin Happy. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her loving memory to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital or the American Heart Association.
