He was predeceased by: his wife Nancy Helm; and his sisters, Rheba Moore and Mickey McClure. He is survived by: his children, Martin Helm (Connie), Allen Helm and Leigh Godwin (Les). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; one foster grandchild; 17 great-grandchildren; three foster great-grandchildren.
