He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hoheisel and Katherina Hoheisel (Reitober); his wife Gladys Westervelt; his daughter Dana; his siblings, Ed, Roman, Arnold, Vincent and Carmen; and his grandson Dustin.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Jerry, Denae, Angie, Kevin, Brian and Dylan; and his sisters, Louise Ayres and Margie Standiford. He is also survived by 4 great-great-grandchildren.
