He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Edward "Bid" and Lucy Leola Ryder (Hodson); his siblings, Jimmy Don, Billy Joe, John and Ila Lavois Taylor; and his siblings-in-law, Ray Shuler, Faye Ryder, Georgia Lee Ryder, Terry Hannington and Gary Benfield.
He is survived by: his wife Jean "Jeannie" Johnson; his children, Kerry Ryder Morris (Aaron) of Satellite Beach, Shelley Ryder Long (Gordon) of Frisco and Christopher Lee Ryder of Newton; his granddaughters, Ashley (Cole Heimerman) of Wichita, Riley (Joey Blanton) of Wichita, Holley Morris of Tempe, Emma Long, Abby Long, Megan Long and Samantha Long of Frisco; his great grandchildren, Ezra Blanton and Carly Heimerman; and his siblings, A. J. Ryder of Cache, Jerry Lee Ryder (Joyce) of Lawton, Valois Shuler of Lawton, Sharon Phelps (Mike) of Houston, Sandy Hannington of Oklahoma City and Shirleta Benfield of Oklahoma City. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
