He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Whipple and Bernice Whipple (Gilmore); his wife Donna Colleen Stout; his siblings, Clarence, Fenton, Jim, Tom, Wayne, Paul Whipple, Thayne Starner, Hazel Prose, Ruby Mather and LaVerne Handy; his daughter-in-law Beverly Whipple; and his great grandchildren, James and John Frick.
He is survived by: his children, Barbara Harrold (Terry) of Ness City, Randy Whipple (Michelle) of Dighton, Marvin Whipple (Lisa) of Pawnee Rock and Darwin Whipple of Beeler; his grandchildren, Jeane Holton, Wendy Miller, Andrea Bernard, Tiffany Alf, Brandi Hartley, Alyssa Frick, Faren Ostmeyer and Alexis Whipple; and his siblings, Donald Whipple of Arvada and Jennie Bates of Denver, Colorado.. He is also survived by 20 great grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home (207 N Pennsylvania Ave, Ness City, KS 67560). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (104 S School St, Ness City, KS 67560). A burial will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 at the Beeler Cemetery (1 S Ln Rd, Beeler, KS 67518).
Memorial contributions may be given to the Beeler Fire Department or the Beeler Community Building.
