He is survived by: his parents, Leann J Dekoning (Bernasek) and Jim Brooks of Beattie, KS; his children, Kiersten Brooks of Wamego, KS and Scott Brooks of Beattie, KS; and his sisters, Janet Harms (Walter) of Beatrice, NE, Lori Hill (Glenn Treftz) and Julie Brooks-Bergman (Jason Blockster) of Kyle, Texas..
