He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Moore and Mollie Moore (Rein); and his sisters, Pearlene Showalter and Marvalee Stanberry. He is survived by: his wife Karen Grose; his children, Scott LaDell of Schoenchen, KS, Crystal Lynn George (Jesse) of Marlow, OK and Misty Dawn Moralez (Jimmy) of Platte City, MO.; and his grandchildren, Chadell Atkinson (Carson), Caden George (Morgan), Danny Holecek, Baylee Holecek and Alicia Moore. He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Bazine Volunteer Fire Department.

“Dear Karen and Moore family, I join with you in the sadness of Sherry's passing. Bud and I sincerely appreciated Sherry as a very straight forward and clear thinking and speaking man's man. Over several decades he showed us very kind hospitality opening his property to us to pursue our most favorite outdoor activity, pheasant hunting. In a very short time the Moores made us feel like it was more than us asking permission, it felt like we were welcomed and looked forward to each fall. Spence”
