She was predeceased by: her parents, David Fritz and Elizabeth Fritz. She is survived by: her husband Clifford Nies; her daughters, Cherie Cowgill (Warren) of Rose Hill and Patty McCullough (Jess) of Rose Hill; her brother Raymond Dale Fritz (Karen) of Gentry, AR; and her grandchildren, Shannon Schnell (Jeff), Christy Sidwell (Brian), Keri Wehling (Brent), Ryan McCullough (Ashley), Curtis Cowgill (Stevie), Emily Roth (Vince) and Nicholas Cowgill (Nikki). She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established with Wichita Cancer Foundation, 1035 N. Emporia Ave., Ste. 195, Wichita, KS 67214.
