He was predeceased by: his parents, David Elkins and Alma Elkins; and his siblings, Josephine, Nellie, Marie and Lawrence.
He is survived by: his children, Patty Hayes (Rob) of Joplin, MO, Roberta White (Terry) of Joplin and Don Elkins of Carthage, MO; his sister Lou Gafford of White Bluff, TN; and his stepdaughters, Dawn Konforty of Scottsdale, AZ, Christina Derixson (Bill) of Alvin, TX and Summer Loomba (Derek). He is also survived by nine grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
