He was predeceased by: his parents, Florence Tanksley (Johnson) and Ray Tanksley; and his niece Stephanie Richards. He is survived by: his children, Chris Tanksley (Aryn Tanksley) of Joplin, MO and Miranda Weldon (Mike Weldon) of Wyandotte, OK; his grandsons, Hudson and Parker Tanksley; his former wife Marybeth Tanksley of Joplin, MO; his sisters, Sheila Bock (Rod Bock) of Florida and Sharon Ashmore (Mike Ashmore) of Indiana; and his close friends, Teresa Sizemore and Sarah Sizemore of Baxter Springs, KS.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.
