Robert Wayne Gruber Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Wayne Gruber of Baxter Springs, Kansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 7, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Gruber and Opal Gruber (McDowell); and his significant other Linda Brown. He is survived by: his son Eric; his daughter-in-law Amy Gruber; his grandchildren, Ember, Remi and Rogan of Gladstone, MO; his daughter Heather; his son-in-law Mark Bennett; his grandchild Braeden of Joplin, MO.; his siblings, Larry Gruber of Mesa, AZ, Michael Gruber of Manford, OK and Nancy Runyon of Coffeyville, KS; and his brothers-in-law, Gary Runyon of Bartlesville, OK and Jim Brown (Bonnie) of Wichita, KS. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Derfelt Funeral Home - Baxter Springs (328 E 12th St, Baxter Springs, KS 66713).
