She was predeceased by: her parents, William Cordell McDowell and Ida Leona McDowell (Chandler); her husband Carl Wayne Gruber; her siblings, Irvin, Joseph, Melvin, Luther, Ethel, John Henry and Sam; her daughter-in-law Linda Gruber; and her brother-in-law Mendal Hallmark.
She is survived by: her children, Bob Gruber of Baxter Springs, KS, Larry Gruber of Mesa, AZ, Mike Gruber of Mannford, OK and Nancy Runyon of Coffeyville, KS; her sister Barbara Hallmark of Irving, TX; and her grandchildren, Eric, Heather, Tammy, Terry, Chad, Chris and Jen. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
