He was predeceased by: his parents, Wine Park and Beulah Shepard (Foley); his wife Pamela Shepard; his parents-in-law, Gene and Beverly Mavity; and his brother Gayl Shepard (Evelyn).
He is survived by: his children, Jason Shepard (Kristen) of Columbus, KS and Jenny Sikes (Steve) of Fredericktown, MO; his brother Jack Shepard (Terry) of Ottawa, KS; his siblings-in-law, Meredith Roush (Rick) of Leavenworth, KS and Ron Mavity (Kris) of Broken Arrow, OK; and his grandchildren, Holden Sikes, Josephine Elliott (Devin), Lane Sikes, Michael Shepard and Gracie Sikes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
