She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen William and Ola T Thompson (Hayhurst); her husband Samuel C. "Chet" Hawkinson; and her son Bobby Lee Hawkinson. She is survived by: her daughter Jean Fleming (Roger) of Joplin, MO; her grandchildren, Ryan Fleming (Abi) of Overland Park, KS, Kristen Hergenrother (Brett) of Ballwin, MO, Rob Hawkinson of Charlotte, NC and Damon Hawkinson (Monica) of Lakeland, FL; her great grandchildren, Sydney Duston (Bailey), Joe Hawkinson, Nathan Hergenrother, Katie Hergenrother, Will Fleming, Andrew Hergenrother, Lia Fleming, Jack Hergenrother, Charlee Hawkinson and Abby Hawkinson; and her great great grandchild Harper Duston of Locust, NC..
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Wounded Warriors or St. Mary's Catholic Church, in care of the funeral home.
