She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Lee DeForest and Bertha Goldie DeForest (Dyste); her husband Jack F. Shoemaker; her brothers, Harry, Jim, Glen, Edward, Harold, Norman and Jerry; and her son Joseph Ted Shoemaker.
She is survived by: her children, Penny Ann Larsen (Jay Larsen) of Irvine, Wendy Lea Youngberg (Darin Youngberg) of Joplin and Vincent "Joe" Shoemaker (Kristine Bohon) of Poplar Bluff, Missouri; and her grandchildren, Madison King (Youngberg), Kayla Boyle (Shoemaker), Natali Byrne (Youngberg), Holly Hernandez-Toro (Traphagan), Zora Shoemaker and Brayden Youngberg. She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
