It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie Ray Hayes of Baxter Springs, Kansas, born in Webb City, Missouri, who passed away on April 17, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Hayes and Clara Mae Hayes (Phillips); and his brothers, Rodney Hayes and Ralph Hayes. He is survived by: his children, Tommy Ray Hayes (Tina Coffman), Dakota Ray Hayes, Nolan Thomas Hayes (Kelsey Evans) and Alisha Marie Hayes of Baxter Springs; his brothers, John Hayes of Tulsa, OK, Wesley Hayes (Christina) of Joplin, MO and Wendell Hayes (Donna) of Weir, KS; and his granddaughter Marissa Lynn Kean.
